where do we start and where do we go from there? it was 1993 when wayne robinson started piecing together the elements to create his dynamic alter ego"SKINNY BANTON a.k.a SHADOWFLOW da G.O.D.".a slender articulate poetic genius from the island of dominica,west indies.with a start and foundation in reggae music or to be more exact dancehall music,he breezed through the competition and made a name for himself...fast forward..1995 he made his dancehall debut with a single entitled "vocabulary fitness"and on the bouyon/soca scene with a feature on the song "rah-ga-lypso" with the founders of bouyon music "the W.C.K.band" from dominica.from there on it was annual features on their albums at carnival time and numerous features and collaborations with artists both local and regional including dominica's 3-peat calypso king "dice",hunter,michelle henderson,T.C.,claudette peters,tywoni,klockerz,p.i.k,fitzroy williams,and the list goes on.also performing on stages at home and abroad on tour with the w.c.k. band.....fast forward....2004 he then moved on to complete a duo recording with one of the other local bouyon artist neijel "nayee" jno baptiste.entitled "BRING IT".the album met with reasonable success...in the early part of 2007 he also released recordings on the album entitled "SOLID",a much anticipated release...fast forward...at present time he is working on releasing singles for his upcoming soca/bouyon album "BOUYONICANS" in 2009 with the backing of the slaughter arts family...so it's all a matter of time before u hear this talented slick talking energy intense and creative artist blazing your favorite riddims on your favorite radio and internet stations and performing at all your major events and functions.
